We’ve spoke a lot about why we believe Tactical Whey is the most unique whey protein formula ever created. Today, we’re going to explain exactly why it’s a cut above the rest.

Everything we have ever done, doing or will do has been started in the same place…. our mind. That's right everything. It all started with a thought. The most important aspect in all our endeavours is the power of our minds. I am going to look at this in the context of bodybuilding. Remember the first time you decided to start lifting weights? Maybe it was an image on a magazine, a movie or a reaction to an insult…. we all started because of a thought in our head…. Personally as a boy I always wished to be big muscular like the heroes of the day…. Arnie, Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate warrior…He-Man even cartoons back then were jacked! But where am I going with all this?? My point is this…. bodybuilding is about setting goals… the first goal we set we didn't really notice that we had not only set a goal but take the necessary steps to reach… we wanted to build some muscle so we went to the gym.

In my last blog I briefly touched on my training split so for this blog I wanted to go into more detail about my split and how I set my workouts out.

I have a manual job, which involves a lot of heavy lifting so I take a lower volume approach to my training. I want my workouts to be short and sweet, but as effective as possible and obviously my recovery needs to be as effective as possible too.

I've tried other training splits and styles - push, pull, legs, a higher volume approach and although I enjoyed them initially, after 3 weeks I was always tired and failing to recover from my workouts.

For years, I’ve seen some truly AWFUL amino products make their way onto the market…

Amino acids derived from garbage sources such as collagen and human hair (yuck) are as bad as they sound.

A lot of bodybuilders have said over the years that amino acid supplementation isn’t necessary if you get adequate protein intake.

I completely disagree.

Workouts are intense - that’s just the way it is.

It helps separate the men from the boys, and it’s the reason some succeed while others fail.

BUT, maintaining consistency of the intensity needed to grow is the BIGGEST challenge any bodybuilder faces for long-term success.

Whenever I see a new fat burning product I am generally rather sceptical. Its most likely because I have never given one a chance and just favoured a good old black coffee to get my caffeine (the main ingredient in most fat burners. Maxxmuscle’s Thermo 9mm caught my attention as it has ingredients in there I not heard a lot about but when I did some digging about their benefits I was intrigued. One of which was Teacrine. So let’s take a look and see what Teacrine is and what it actually has to offer.

I know, we all love what we do, iron is therapy, etc. But i also know, once you decide to compete, you can say bye bye to be satisfied again. The day you decide to get big, is the day you decide to be small forever because you can never be big enough. Its like chasing the magic dragon i think. Let me tell you a short story about my first prep for stage early this year and how it changed me.

Bodybuilding on a Budget

22 Nov 2018 11:52:34

Every penny I spend on bodybuilding is an investment; whether it’s training fees, supplements and most importantly food. When my wages come in each month the first thing I do before accounting for bills is stick £250 away for food, which never ends up being enough, £40 for gym memberships and £100 for supplements. For the average person this is likely to be ¼ of your monthly income, making it undesirable to fully commit to the essentials required to develop a winning physique.

HIT Training with Daniel McNab

19 Nov 2018 17:42:48

HIT training and the mentality needed for completion of such a programme is actually more about being totally real with yourself rather than ‘flipping the switch’ or engaging ‘beast mode’. HIT training is not for everybody and you need to be honest with yourself when you try and select this as a viable way to add muscle onto your frame. When moving towards a low volume, low frequency style of training you have one thing to trade with, and that is intensity. A low volume workout performed just once a week at a normal level of intensity is just what your average Sharron from accounts is doing after work, and it seems she isn’t getting the results she wanted, and neither will you.
